Almost exactly one year to the day after Felix Baumgartner smashed a 52-year-old skydiving record and became the first person to break the sound barrier without the use of a vehicle, the jump's sponsor, Red Bull, has released spectacular new footage of the death-defying leap (above).
The 9.5-minute video shows what Baumgartner saw during the dive, along with real-time readouts of his altitude, airspeed, G-force load and other mission data.
