This is a companion documentary to my earlier upload "The Forgotten Years". It tells the story of Churchill's political errors in the 1930s, chiefly over independence for India and tariff reform. It is excellent material for the student of both the man and the turbulent era of the 1930s. The video quality is not particularly good, so my apologies for that, but the archive footage is excellent. Uploaded for educational purposes only. Comments are welcome, but any coarse language or aggressive assertions will be deleted immediately.

Ben Carson Campaign Now Says He 'Did Not Seek Admission' to West Point

Ben Carson did not apply and was not admitted to West Point Military Academy, despite writing in his book "Gifted Hands" that he had gotten a full scholarship offer from the school, his presidential campaign told ABC News.
"Again, though his senior commander was in touch with West Point and told Dr. Carson he could get in, Dr. Carson did not seek admission," the campaign said in a statement today.
Carson, as an ROTC student, was told that West Point would process an admission for him, campaign spokesman Doug Watts said.
Military commanders in Carson's hometown of Detroit said they would "take care of" his admission, Watts said, adding Carson then met with people and chose not to pursue it.
“Maybe the words are inaccurate, but that fact that you’re offered a chance to attend one of the military academies, you are in effect getting a scholarship because nobody pays a dime,” Watts said in a telephone interview.
Carson wrote that he "was offered a full scholarship to West Point" in his 1990 book, "Gifted Hands."
The statement comes as the neurosurgeon fires back at the media after failed attempts to confirm the violent childhood incidents he has publicly recounted. He stands by those stories.
As for West Point, which is tuition-free for accepted students in return for military service, “There is no such thing as a scholarship there, everybody is on scholarship,” Watts told ABC News. "He was told that they would process his admission and that they would get him in and he chose not to seek admission, nor did he apply.”
"Dr. Carson as the leading ROTC student in Detroit was told by his commanders that he could get an appointment to the Academy. He never said he was admitted or even applied," the campaign said in a statement.
This is the full excerpt of what Carson wrote in the book:
"At the end of my twelfth grade I marched at the head of the Memorial Day parade. I felt so proud, my chest bursting with ribbons and braids of every kind. To make it more wonderful, we had important visitors that day. Two soldiers who had won the Congressional Medal of Honor in Viet Nam were present. More exciting to me, General William Westmoreland (very prominent in the Viet Nam war) attended with an impressive entourage. Afterward, Sgt. Hunt introduced me to General Westmoreland, and I had dinner with him and the Congressional Medal winners. Later I was offered a full scholarship to West Point. I didn’t refuse the scholarship outright, but I let them know that a military career wasn’t where I saw myself going. As overjoyed as I felt to be offered such a scholarship, I wasn’t really tempted. The scholarship would have obligated me to spend four years in military service after finishing college, precluding my chances to go on to medical school. I knew my direction – I wanted to be a doctor, and nothing would divert me or stand in the way. Of course the offer of a full scholarship flattered me. I was developing confidence in my abilities – just like my mother had been telling me for at least he past ten years.”
A West Point spokesman told ABC News that records from applicants who are not admitted to the school, don’t finish the full application process or are admitted but do not attend are thrown out after three years.
"Candidate files where admission/acceptance was not sought are retained for three years; therefore we cannot confirm whether anyone during that time period was nominated to West Point if they chose not to pursue completion of the application process," the spokesman said.
Carson lashed out at the media in a heated interview with CNN this morning, in which he called other questions into his past "pathetic" and "garbage."
“The story is well-documented," Carson said, referring to a story in question about trying to stab a friend or relative. "If you choose not to believe it, if it doesn’t fit the narrative that you want, that’s fine. Let’s let the American people decide.”

As for the courts, America has long ago shredded the rule of law in this country.
“Five top bankers from Iceland’s two largest banks — Landsbankinn and Kaupþing — were found guilty of embezzlement, market manipulation, and breach of fiduciary duties. Though the country’s maximum penalty for financial crimes currently stands at six years, the Supreme Court is currentlyhearing arguments to extend the limit. Most of those convicted have so far been sentenced to between two and five years.”
Pray tell, when will the public wake up from their systematic induced lobotomy from a culture designed to purge even a fundamental understanding of money, finance and economics? In a demonstration of supreme chutzpah, former Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Shalom Bernanke points the finger at his brethren tribe of moneychangers, while spinning out the con that the Fed came to the rescue. Ben Bernanke: More execs should have gone to jail for causing Great Recession, exemplifies just how inept the media presstitutes are in allowing the bag man for the banksters to deflect the true culprit of the cause of financial ruin.

For one thing, he says that more corporate executives should have gone to jail for their misdeeds. The Justice Department and other law-enforcement agencies focused on indicting or threatening to indict financial firms, he notes, "but it would have been my preference to have more investigation of individual action, since obviously everything what went wrong or was illegal was done by some individual, not by an abstract firm."
The eradication of honest species is a direct result of the debt created fiat money system operated by the Federal Reserve. Acceptance of the Central Banking scheme, as legitimate is the fundamental curse of modern economics.
It comes as no shock that the street protests against the banksters has been infiltrated by the masters of the universe to insulate the central bank from the authentic outrage that sincere protestors express. However, mere demonstrations will not secure criminal indictments from a Department of Injustice that masquerades as the “Peoples’ Sheriff”.
The Iceland experience is a most hopeful action taken against the monetary criminal elites, who operate as the global alchemist of counterfeit usury.

Since a financial analysis of Corporatocracy dissects business activities, the ordinary protestor opposing Wall Street often makes a mistake by railing against capitalism believing that both are synonymous. The average American has a rudimentary understanding of finance at best. In the current condition of the popular culture, most pay even less lip service to the lessons of scripture.
Blocking out both disciplines inflicts a void of profound economic knowledge. The Banksters of high finance share the lineage of the Pharisees from biblical times. Today, stealing from the public has become a computerized science.
Unless and until the American populace matures and shows the responsibility to confront the very nature and basis of the debt extortion formula, used by the banksters, the successful resistance that Iceland adopted will not be seen in the United States. In all the discussions during this presidential election cycle, no one is making the case to abolish the Federal Reserve, not even Rand Paul.
The study of economics is more about human nature than forecasts. As long as the most corrupt are rewarded for their offenses, the banking cartel will remain a den of thieves.
Community banking must be resurrected and a Glass–Steagall Banking Act reinstituted to separate commercial from investment banking. A host of more permanent measures to eliminate the operations and functions of the Fed must then follow.

Briefing on 9th Circuit case 11-60039, Ozenne v. Chase/Ocwen has been completed. The banks response was due February 6th 2012. The 9th circuit court of appeals, 10 months later, October 25, 2012, ordered the bank to file their response within ten days, along with a motion to file the response late or face consequences.
Still Nothing for 34 more months .
Although we have been involved in litagation since the undeniable May 17, 2001 violation of law, the bank's legal counsel asserted that Chase / Ocwen only learned of my case on August 17, 2015, the day I filed a motion, asking the court, that if I was successful, the court would remand this case to the United States District Court for trial by jury, instead of the usual remand back to the originating court. like the Bankruptcy Appellant Panel did , when they reversed the same judge on January 17, 2006. In Re Ozenne, 337 B.R. 214 (9th Cir. BAP 2006)
It should be noted that Electronic case filing and record keeping (US Pacer) had been implemented in the 9th Circuit for a number of years.
I filed a motion for Judicial Notice
asking the court to take notice, in a judicial sense of the various legal problems and judgements against Ocwen from various governmental agencies. The motion waits for a ruling on that request,
Now we wait for the court to rule on this 14 year old case, where a common citizen, asks the court to provide a forum to determine the facts, and the truth of those who have changed his life's path so dramatically.
