.Twenty Years ago today I lost my maternal grandmother Esther Jensen. She was 101
Godspeed Baba !
Esther, or Baba, as we called her came from Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian heritage.
She married Junius, and had three daughters; Pearl, Adeline, and Betty.
Coming from Whitehall Michigan, they settled in the city of Inglewood, California.
At some point Junius began drinking more than Baba would allow and they divorced.
Her trip, years later, to the Holy Land was documented by her first person narrative of her trip.
